Breathtaking Grand Canyon

Our first stop was Flagstaff in Arizona, and I think i don't need to say why. Grand Canyon was so beautiful and incredible place. I have seen pictures before and I knew what to expect, but omg, it was more than i had imagined. There were many places where you got different views, and I recommend if you gonna go there someday you should go see at least two or three different views.

After Grand Canyon we went to eat and shop a little bit but we were quite tired after driving so we wanted to go sleep early. In the morning we start to drive to Las Vegas but on our way we wanted to stop and see famous Hoover Dam.

p.s. whole Arizona looked really beautiful

Let's go!!

Our trip started on tuesday two weeks ago but everything didn't go like we had planned. In the morning we had an exam buttt of course we slept over (you can only imagine how nice it was to go and see the professor and say "sorry we don't know what happened but we slept over" and see how he was thinking "yea right" ). However, we returned our homeworks and headed to other class. We needed to return some homeworks to that class also but of course i wasn't able to find my homeworks for that class from my computer ("This can't be true, not now"). Well luckily i found other one from weird location but other one is still lost. Well after this class it was time to go home and pick our stuff and leave, finally. We walked tired to our car (because we had done various homeworks last night because we had many deadlines during our trip) and drove back home. Everything looked to be fine untillllll we saw that we had a parking ticket on our window, GREAT! Haha, we really needed a break from school.

It was about 3:30pm when we started to drive from Emporia to Flagstaff, Arizona. Out first destination was to go and see Grand Canyon. It took 16 hours to drive there but it wasn't that bad because we had four drivers and we had waited this trip for so long.

On the road

Huhhuh mikä reissu on ollu ja on edelleen (Tuomas lähti friscosta ajelee chigagoon, joten ollaan marian kanssa nyt vaan kahdestaan). Ollaan nähty enemmän ku uskottiin ja kuvattu ihan liikaa, et ekaa kertaa elämässää kameran ottaminen kuvaamista varten tuntuu raskaalta (uskokaa tai älkää)! Ollaan kokoajan menty ja tehty, joten aikaa ei oo ollu ku korkeintaa deletoida ja vähän muokata kuvia. Nyt istutaan kuitenki noin kolme tunti junassa matkalla Seattleen Portlandista, joten koitan jos muutaman päivityksen sais kirjotettuu. Alla on kuva meidän reissusta.

We have had a fantastic journey which still continues from Portland to Seattle. We have seen so much awesome things and for the first time taking pictures feels heavy (believe it or not). We have done different kind of things all the time and we have way too many pictures from this roadtrip and it is hard to choose which ones i wanna show you. Like I said we are heading to Seattle by train so we have about three hours time so i try my best and update this blog a little bit. Here is picture were we have been.

Chicago

Over one week ago i was watching "The Vow" with my friends and we all loved it. I really like both of those main actors and there were also really beautiful scenes from Chicago. And just after one week i got the opportunity to see some of those places:

Our weekend in Chicago was sooo perfect! We all fell in love to Chicago, and oh my how much there was things were to take pictures from. It was a paradise for me and Maria. I definitely can recommend going to Chicago if you get a chance because for me at least it was a huge positive surprise.

P.S. Today we came to Flagstaff, Arizona and went to see Grand Canyon. It was so beautiful and we got a lot of great pictures

O.P.I nail polish

Ostin hetki sitten pari O.P.In lakkaa ja tiedätte varmaan niiden maksavan Suomessa noin 15-17 euroa (jos oikein muistan eli aikas paljon). Niitä en oo siis suomes hamstrannut, mutta tääl se on erittäin erittäin mahdollista sillä ostin noi kaks lakkaa 13,5 dollarilla eli noin 10 eurolla. Tääl saa kyl kaikki niin paljon halvemmalla, et tuntuu et rahaa ei kulu melkee yhtään vaikka ostaa tuotteita, joihin normaalisti menisi paljon enemmän. Täällä siis ihana shoppailla ja vararikko ei tuu nii nopeesti vastaan kun Suomes. 

Nyt on ollu niin kiire kaikkien koulujuttujen kanssa, että huhhuh. Deadline deadlinen perään, esitelmä ja tenttejä. Huomenna onneksi helpottaa sillä.... me lähdetään CHICAGOOON!!! jaiks en malta odottaa aamuun. Edessä on ekaks 8 tuntii ajoa, mutta ei haittaa sillä saatiin myös George lähtemään messiin eli hyvä porukka kasassa, jee.

I bought couple new nail polishes from O.P.I. Those nail polishes are more than half cheaper here so im sure these two are not gonna be the only ones. Here shopping is so much nicer than in Finland because i save money a lot in here, and haha i like that.

I have had so much homeworks to do this week and that is why im so tired. But it don't really matter now because..... tomorrow we are leaving to CHICAGOO!! can't wait. George is also coming with us so it gonna be even funnier.

Sunday walk

Viime sunnuntain lähettii Marian kaa kävelee pitkäst aikaa. No myönnettäköön, että se ei ollu meidän tarkotus lainkaan vaan tarkotus oli lähteä nopsaa käymää Walmartissa autolla. Tajuttiin kuitenkin lähtiessä auton olevan kavereilla 1,5 mailin päässä, joten jalkaa jalan eteen mars. Täytyy kuitenkin myöntää, että oli kiva nähä taas enemmän naapurustoo sekä isona plussana päälle saatiin napattuu myös muutamia kivoja kuvia.

Last sunday we went to a walktrip with Maria. Oh well, it wasn't our plan but when we had just decided to go and stop by quickly at Walmart we remembered that our car is somewhere else. It was about 1,5 miles away from our home because we had left it to friends house on saturday. But i need to admit that it was only a good think because now we know more about our neighborhood in Emporia and we also took couple nice pics on our way.

Applebee's

Torstaina mentiin Marian kaa ekaa kertaa käymää kyseisessä ravintolassa ja itse söin kuvissa näkyvän kanan with vegetables! ja nami miten hyvää oli! Tää oli varmaa oikeesti vast eka annos ravintolassa tääl, johon oli erittäin tyytyväinen. Tääl on paljon ravintoloita ja siten paljon mistä valita, mut ollaan petytty miten mauttomii annokset on täällä (no tän lisäks ollaan oltu kyl tyytyväisii lähel olevaan kiinalaiseen sekä meksikolaisiin). Muutenki tää ravintola oli ihanan viihtyisä ja suosittu paikka, joten tännekki pitää viel monesti mennä.

On thursday we were at Applebee's and I ate chicken with vegetables. I need to say that this was maybe the first meal here of which i was totally satisfied. Here is a lot of restaurants so we have lot where to choose from but we have been dissatisfied with their tastelessness (well all chinese and mexican restaurants have been really good). We also liked Applebee's because it was really cozy and popular place so we definitely wanna go again.

The sweet Granada - A chocolate café

Kuvat kertoo tosiaan enemmä ku tuhat sanaa! Olin eilen kahvittelee Sumin (vaihtari koreasta) paikallisessa kahvilassa ja päätettiin mennä ekaan kertaa myös tämän kahvilan herkulliseen suklaapuotiin. Saatiin muutamia maistiaisia, jonka jälkeen päädyin pitkän harkinnan jälkeen ostamaan pienen palan maapahkinäsuklaata. Kun suklaat oli ostettu mentiin Granadan varsinaiseen kahvilaan (viereinen ovi) ja ostettii suklaiden kaveriksi kupit kahvia. Voin vaan sanoa, että kyllä oli hyvää. Varsinkin dipattu mansikka, jonka Sumi tarjosi mulle, oli aivan täydellinen. Tuonne tulee mentyy varmasti viel monet kerrat!

Pictures tell more than thousand words. Yesterday I was with Sumi (an exchangestudent from Korea) in this lovely cafeteria, The Granada. At first we went to Granadas delicious chocolate store to buy small pieces of chocolate. After that we went to actual cafeteria in the next door to drink coffee with our chocolates and I can't say much more than it was sooo d e l i c i o u s. And I really loved that strawberry with chocolate so thank you Sumi for buying it for me!! Im really sure that this wasn't my last time in this cafeteria.

Bath and body works - going crazy

Oo rakastuttii tohon liikkeesee heti ku astuttii sisään ja tuolt olis voinu ostaa vaika mitä! Koitin ostaa mahdollisimman vähän, mut nää tuotteet tarttu täl kertaa mukaan (nää kaikki makso 44 dollaria eli ei paha). Ai ihanaa milt noi kaikki tuoksuu ja kaikki tuotteet on kyl ollu enemmän ku hintansa väärti sillä kaikki tekee tehtävänsä hyvin eli tuotteiden laatu on hyvä! Tiedoks vaan seuraaville vaihtareille et tähän Flint Hilssin mallissa olevas liikkeessä kantsii käydä jos vähänkää tykkää käyttää vastaavia tuotteita.

Couple days ago we went to this store for the first time and immeadiately when we got inside I knew i would love this store. I tried to bought just couple products but this time i bought these ones and they were 44 dollars. After four days of using I can say that all of those are really good products so i didn't have to be disappointed. I can recommend this store to everyone who love products like these.

Bowling

Arvatkaas kuka on alkanu (osittain pakon edestä kun ei oo siidereit tai lonkeroita) juomaan täällä kaljaa? Minä!!! Haha ja jopa alan tykkäämään. Näitä Bud Light Limejä on tullu muutamia juotuu ja joka kerralla oon nauttinu! Mitäköhä muita muutoksii jenkkilä tuo tullessaa.

Oltiin keilaamassa lauantaina Georgen ja Yongin kanssa (joiden kans vietetää paljon aikaa) ja oli kyl tosi kivaa. Tääl keilaaminen paljon paljon halvempaa sekä myyjä kerto et joka perjantai girls are for free!!! Haha eli nykyään keilataan vaan perjantaisin. Alkoholit ovat tosiaan paljon halvempia, joten jano juomaks juotiin tietenkin kaljaa eikä limsaa tai vettä! Itse join täl kertaa vaan yhen jotta päästiin myös ajaen pois sieltä.

Keilaamisen jälkeen tultiin meille koko porukka ja syötiin Georgen tekemää ruokaa (spagettii kolmel eri paprikal ja kastikkeel), joka oli hyvää. Pelailtii korttii, juotiin sekä lähdettii käymää Blaken ja Jeremyn järjestötalon bileissä. Ilta oli kyl hauska alusta loppuun.
