Volleyball

Kavereitten kaa aikaa tuli tietenki paljon vietettyy ja lopuks innostuttii pelailee monesti rantapalloo. Marian kaa oltii aluks aika hukassa, mut tehtiin kyllä pelaamisest paljon hauskempaa mee säyttäyksellä, haha. Itse en todellakaan ole lajin ammattilainen, ja tietenki satutin oikeen käden lihaksenki jotenki, joten kivun sain itelleni kahdeks viikoks hankittuu. Ei siis ole mun laji ei.

Hauskaa oli ain ja halukkaita pelaamaan. Useesti lähdettiin grillailee ja viihteelle pelien jälkee, koska kouluki oli ohitse ni aikaa oli mennä ja tulla. Täytyy vaa ens kertoja varten vähä salaa harjotella, jotta paikat pysyy ehjinä.

Easter

This was definitely my best Easter ever. The weather was so beautiful and people were amazing. It was sunday when we went to our friend's place to these easer party where we tried to egg hunting. I was hunting two times but haha i didn't find any eggs so i had to drink two shots (There were one backbag full of shots from which we had to take one without looking). After my friend's place we went to bar which was open only for us because the owner and couple bartenders were at this party.

We also got opportunity to taste some traditional american easter food when we were visiting in New Strawn at Anniina's and Dan's place. We had great time also there, so thank you.

Spring Break - Galveston, TX

Elämäni ensimmäinen ja varmaan viimeinen hiihtoloma Jenkkilässä on vietetty ja ihana se myös oli. Lähdettiin Marian kanssa ajamaan autollamme kohti Galvestonin saarta, joka sijaitsee Meksikonlahden rannalla Texasissa. Meidän suunnitelma oli päästä palmujen keskelle, lähelle vettä ja lämpimämpään paikkaan (Emporiassa on kyl ollu Suomen kesä, joten en valita näistä säistä), joten Galveston oli täydellinen ratkaisu. Matka oli ihanan rentouttava, MUTTA matkat kesti yhteen suuntaan 14 tuntia ja voitte vaan kuvitella kuinka mukavaa on istua mustassa autossa kovassa helteessä ilman toimivaa ilmastointia (esimerkiksi hotellille päästyämme oli pakko vaihtaa selästä aivan litimärkä huppari pois, joten voin sanoa että oikeasti oli aika tuskainen matka), mutta kun saavuttiin Galvestoniin ja nähtiin haluamamme maisemat, ei kuumuus haitannut enää yhtään.

I'm so glad that we decided to go there because it was exactly what we wanted. And me and Maria made it really well together without problems which is something totally new for us (okay I admit there was some small problems in Galveston but haha i don't tell about those).

Hoover Dam - on our way to Las Vegas

From Flaggstaff we headed to Las Vegas which took about four hours to drive there. But just on the border of Nevada is this really famous Hoover Dam that we wanted to see, so we did a quick stop there. Whole trip to Las Vegas was really beautiful and warm, so all of us were repeating sentences like: "omg this is so awesome", "im so happy right now", "Finland is so boring" and etc.. being in US felt so right and good.

Breathtaking Grand Canyon

Our first stop was Flagstaff in Arizona, and I think i don't need to say why. Grand Canyon was so beautiful and incredible place. I have seen pictures before and I knew what to expect, but omg, it was more than i had imagined. There were many places where you got different views, and I recommend if you gonna go there someday you should go see at least two or three different views.

After Grand Canyon we went to eat and shop a little bit but we were quite tired after driving so we wanted to go sleep early. In the morning we start to drive to Las Vegas but on our way we wanted to stop and see famous Hoover Dam.

p.s. whole Arizona looked really beautiful

Chicago

Over one week ago i was watching "The Vow" with my friends and we all loved it. I really like both of those main actors and there were also really beautiful scenes from Chicago. And just after one week i got the opportunity to see some of those places:

Our weekend in Chicago was sooo perfect! We all fell in love to Chicago, and oh my how much there was things were to take pictures from. It was a paradise for me and Maria. I definitely can recommend going to Chicago if you get a chance because for me at least it was a huge positive surprise.

P.S. Today we came to Flagstaff, Arizona and went to see Grand Canyon. It was so beautiful and we got a lot of great pictures

Applebee's

Torstaina mentiin Marian kaa ekaa kertaa käymää kyseisessä ravintolassa ja itse söin kuvissa näkyvän kanan with vegetables! ja nami miten hyvää oli! Tää oli varmaa oikeesti vast eka annos ravintolassa tääl, johon oli erittäin tyytyväinen. Tääl on paljon ravintoloita ja siten paljon mistä valita, mut ollaan petytty miten mauttomii annokset on täällä (no tän lisäks ollaan oltu kyl tyytyväisii lähel olevaan kiinalaiseen sekä meksikolaisiin). Muutenki tää ravintola oli ihanan viihtyisä ja suosittu paikka, joten tännekki pitää viel monesti mennä.

On thursday we were at Applebee's and I ate chicken with vegetables. I need to say that this was maybe the first meal here of which i was totally satisfied. Here is a lot of restaurants so we have lot where to choose from but we have been dissatisfied with their tastelessness (well all chinese and mexican restaurants have been really good). We also liked Applebee's because it was really cozy and popular place so we definitely wanna go again.
